1 Create a standard letter size document.
2 Type in some words. Centre the words on the top of one another. Use the Align Centre button to do this.
3 Set the font size to 120 pt to make the text large..
4 Choose a font that is easy to read.
5 Choose a bright colour and make a box for 2/3 of the flyer.
6 Choose the Pen tool with default colours (hit the D key). Make a path for the background of the summer sale. Make sure to reduce the size of the font. Also, specify the day(s) of the sale.
7 Select a new simple font and reduce its size. Change the colour offset it.
8 Use the same font, change its colour, and enlarge it slightly. Type in the time of the sale.
9 Open the Brush Libraries and choose Arrow Samples. Use the Line Segment tool to draw a line.
10 Chosoe an arrow and click.
11 Increase the Stroke size of the arrow. Change it's colour to black
12 Reduce the font size and give the driving directions.
13 Press Control+A to choose everything. Open Align and click on Horizontal Align Centre.
14 Use the Star tool to add some splashy attention getting decoration to the flyer. Print and distribute. Save it as a template for future garage sales.
